2. Architecture: Privacy by Design & Zero Telemetry

In compliance with GDPR Article 25 (Data protection by design and by default):

  • No Browsing Telemetry: Mov Browser does not harvest, log, or transmit your URLs, search terms, browsing history, form inputs, or hardware identifiers.
  • Local-Only Inference: The Pouli Mou engine operates strictly on your local hardware (RAM, CPU/GPU) using offline weights. No page text, prompt data, or generated answers are transmitted to cloud infrastructure.
  • No User Account: Mov requires no account registration, email verification, or profile syncing.

3. Website Data Collection & Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)

When you visit movbrowser.com or download installer packages:

  • Server Logs: Our edge provider (Cloudflare, Inc.) transiently processes access metadata (IP address, user agent, requested resource, timestamp).
  • Legal Basis: Processing is justified under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (Legitimate Interests) to secure edge distribution, prevent DDoS attacks, and deliver binaries reliably.
  • Retention: Edge connection logs are retained transiently for security diagnostics and purged within standard operational cycles (maximum 30 days).

4. Your Rights Under GDPR

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, individuals located in the EEA and UK possess the following statutory rights:

Right of Access (Art. 15): Request confirmation of data held.
Right to Erasure (Art. 17): Request deletion of email correspondences.
