2. Architecture: Privacy by Design & Zero Telemetry
In compliance with GDPR Article 25 (Data protection by design and by default):
- No Browsing Telemetry: Mov Browser does not harvest, log, or transmit your URLs, search terms, browsing history, form inputs, or hardware identifiers.
- Local-Only Inference: The Pouli Mou engine operates strictly on your local hardware (RAM, CPU/GPU) using offline weights. No page text, prompt data, or generated answers are transmitted to cloud infrastructure.
- No User Account: Mov requires no account registration, email verification, or profile syncing.
3. Website Data Collection & Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)
When you visit movbrowser.com or download installer packages:
- Server Logs: Our edge provider (Cloudflare, Inc.) transiently processes access metadata (IP address, user agent, requested resource, timestamp).
- Legal Basis: Processing is justified under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (Legitimate Interests) to secure edge distribution, prevent DDoS attacks, and deliver binaries reliably.
- Retention: Edge connection logs are retained transiently for security diagnostics and purged within standard operational cycles (maximum 30 days).
